There are many medications and topical creams available. If you are seeing a dermatologist and still not getting results, try switching to another doctor. All doctors have different methodologies and motivations in picking treatments for their patients. While you should be patient in finding what works for you, getting a second opinion doesn't hurt.
Hum? Then I ran across an article by my favorite health advocate, Mike Adams of NaturalNews. He mentions in the article how a zinc deficiency may be a cause of acne. Maybe my feeble attempt at a new vegan lifestyle was leaving me a bit short in the zinc department? After reading up on the signs of zinc deficiency, I decided to pump up my intake of oysters and pumpkin seeds to see if it would help. Results? Enough of a difference in my skin to look deeper into zinc.
3. Don't touch your zits(pimples). Acne patients love to touch their pimples. I remember when I had acne how much I loved to touch them. Touching your zits is not advice able because your hands and fingers carry a lot of dirt and bacteria even though you don't see them.
